Step 3: Check the Machine Structure
Raised buckets, booms, counterweights, service bodies, ladders and articulated joints can block cameras or change the machine outline. Camera placement should create overlapping views while protecting the hardware from impact and keeping cables away from moving or high-temperature components.
A construction-vehicle installation must account for machine geometry, attachments and operating envelope.
Step 4: Evaluate the Jobsite Environment
Dust and contamination
Review camera position, cleaning access and the likelihood of mud or material covering the lens.
Vibration and shock
Mounting brackets and connectors should be suitable for the intended vehicle and work cycle.

Step 5: Plan Calibration and Fleet Deployment
Fast calibration is valuable when a contractor or rental fleet has several machines to equip.
